Trail du Grand Ballon - La Printanière

TGB 8079,9KM - 3503mD+

The TGB 80 is the Ultra challenge of this anniversary edition. After Schnepfenried, runners have the Grand Ballon in their sights for over 20 km. Passing through Vue des Alpes precedes the main difficulty of the route: the long climb back up from Saint-Amarin. A moment of respite on the heights, then the route plunges back down into the valley to reach the Oderen aid station. All that remains is one final climb to Markstein, before tackling the famous stairs of the Hôtel Wolf and crossing the finish line.

DISCOVER HOTEL WOLF

In the heart of Le Markstein, on the Route des Crêtes, Hôtel Wolf has been part of the resort's history since 1933, and of the Trails du Grand Ballon since the very beginning. This hotel-restaurant carries on a tradition of hospitality in the heart of the Vosges Mountains. Beside it, La Bulle, recognizable by its transparent igloo shape and large terrace, offers a friendly setting to share a meal or a drink and extend moments spent in the mountains.
